The Warlock´s Journal contest is over, the winners are announced. So, I can now name my entry AND am able to post it here, together with rules for Labyrinth Lord. Do you need an evil spider-thing at the center of a bewitched forest? A location to drop into your high-fantasy hexcrawl? Something evil to drop into CARCOSA? Here is my entry, have fun with it!
The Lair of the Witch-Spider
Deep in the woods there is a large clearing where only pale grass grows. In the middle of it, hidden by the high grass, a hole can be found that leads straight down into the ground. It is not big, and so a man can climb down by putting his hands and feet or elbows and knees firmly against the rough earth forming the walls, using old roots as foot- and handholds. The climb is steep, a dozen meters down into the earth it goes, where the surrounding walls get rocky. At the end the tunnel opens into a pitch black cavern. This cavern is only five feet high, but about six yards wide at its narrowest point and nine yards at its widest, with the climb ending roughly at the middle of it. The stony ground of the cave is covered in shallow, stagnant water and a moist smell fills the stale air. To climb back up without help, one could get back into the cored hole above with a pull-up.

[2nd part of the session report] The throne agents spend the few days till the arrival of their voidship with gathering equipment and preparing themselves for their mission. Each of them got a fake identity for the trip while their “luggage” was …taken care off by the Inquisition (their coordinating senior acolyte, Horge of Malfi, had seen to this himself).
- The Arbitrator was still an Arbitrator, but with a different ID and officially on the trail of a system-jumping heretic that needed to be taken into custody.
- The Assassina Mechanica was officially “promoted” to take up an official Mechanicus position on the feudal world at the end of the route
- The Sister of Battle was on a quest for a reliquary.

Well… that did not went as I expected, and I guess I need to blame myself for it.

Tabletop Adventures launched another „Warlock´s Journal Contest“, this time the topic was „unknown underground“ and every entry from 100 to 500 words was fine. Of course, I could not help myself but take my chances and submitted an entry of my own. Which one ? I guess I am not allowed to tell, but this doesn´t matter, at least not for you.
What is important for you to know, dear reader, is that all 25 contest entries are now available for download. 25 ideas, ready to be tailored and dropped into your own game. The PDF contains post-apocalyptic entries, a little bit of sci-fi and a good measure of fantasy stuff.
Oh…did I mentioned that I would like to encourage you to vote? =)
Hey everyone. You know, I am not somebody to waste things, especially not if I can use them twice. So, I added another 50 names to the 50 names I already had provided for “artificial constructs”, turned those into a 100-name-list and put it up on drivethruprg.com.

The Encasing Police Armor Type “Metro Sentinel” was developed and issued in response to both the epidemic spread of riots in the centers of population as well as the growing firepower and brutality of criminals. In fact, the EPA are little more than downgraded and re-fitted versions of their military counterparts, the EMA. But industrial corporations were never shy to use an already developed design more than once.
